All aboard the PR express

With May’s elections behind us and our conference motion heading to debate in CLPs across the UK, it’s a good time to reflect on how people across the breadth of the party have been coming out in favour of Proportional Representation (PR).

We are really pleased to say that ASLEF, the train drivers’ union, has committed to pushing for PR to be a “flagship policy” in the next Labour manifesto. You can find the motion here. Thank you ASLEF! Keep reading for details, plus a round up of all our recent press coverage.

And thanks to the fantastic work of Labour members, the number of CLPs with policy in favour of PR has soared past one in three! Now is the time for all CLPs to send PR to conference, by choosing to prioritise our conference motion.
