Labour: it’s time for PR

We've just hit a huge milestone: one fifth of all the MPs in Parliament have now signed our amendment calling for a National Commission on Electoral Reform.

This makes it one of the most-supported amendments to any Bill since the last general election - and 60% of the MPs who have signed it are Labour MPs.

The campaign for PR now has an incredible opportunity. Britain's future hangs in the balance - and Labour's policy direction is in flux.

To seize this opportunity, we need to take action at every level of the Labour Party. 

That's why, today, we're launching a new Labour members and affiliates campaign that will push Labour in Government to get a grip on the voting system.

In the coming weeks, Labour members and affiliates up and down the country will organise to demand immediate action on electoral reform.
